Sunday 13th October 2024

UPDATE: We do not have any charity places for this year’s Royal Parks Half Marathon, but if you’ve secured your own place and would like to use it to raise money to support our work, we’d love to welcome you onto Team Carers Worldwide.

Join #TeamCarersWorldwide and take your place alongside 16,000 runners in the stunning Royal Parks Half Marathon, presented by Royal Bank of Canada, on Sunday 13th October.

This beautiful central London half marathon takes in some of the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.

Since it began back in 2008, the event has raised over £55 million for more than 1,000 UK charities and you could contribute to that by running for Team Carers Worldwide. Running for us will mean you are helping to change the lives of unpaid family carers in India, Nepal and Bangladesh. If you would like a charity place in our team, then please register your interest with us so that we can make sure we have charity places available.

Alternatively, if you are lucky enough to secure your own place in the race and are looking for a good cause to fundraise for, we would love you to join our team!

How we’ll support you

If you run the Royal Parks Half for us we will assist you every step of the way with fundraising resources, publicity via social media, and lots of moral support – giving you more time to focus on your training schedule. You will also get a Carers Worldwide running vest, as well as a goody bag at the end of the race to say well done and thank you!

How to Join #TeamCarersWorldwide

We do not charge a fee for our places and only ask that you commit to raising a minimum sponsorship of £400. By raising £400 you could help 8 family carers to train in and initiate a livelihood activity which fits around their caring responsibilities, lifting their family out of poverty.
