We don’t have any charity places in this year’s event, but if you have been lucky enough to secure your own place in the race and are looking for a good cause to fundraise for, we would love you to join #TeamCarersWorldwide!

This beautiful central London half marathon takes in some of the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.

Since it began back in 2008, the event has raised over £80 million for more than 1,900 UK charities and you could contribute to that by running for Team Carers Worldwide. Running for us will mean you are helping to change the lives of unpaid family carers in India, Nepal and Bangladesh.

How we’ll support you

If you run the Royal Parks Half for us we will assist you every step of the way with fundraising resources, publicity via social media, and lots of moral support – giving you more time to focus on your training schedule. You will also get a Carers Worldwide running vest, as well as a goody bag at the end of the race to say well done and thank you!

To give you an idea of what your fundraising can do:

  • £150 Could buy 15 learning resource kits made up of books, crayons, pencils & paints for children with disabilities to engage with whilst at one of our Community Caring Centres
  • £200 could help four family carers to train in and initiate a livelihood activity which fits around their caring responsibilities, lifting their families out of poverty.
  • £250 could pay for a counsellor to spend a day with ten different groups of carers.
  • £500 Could set up 50 Carers Groups to reduce loneliness and isolation for unpaid carers.

We can’t wait to hear from you!
